Singer/Song writer Arcurus was born and raised in Vancouver B.C. Canada. He also plays guitar, bass and piano. Arcurus has played in a few bands, always all original, and was always the main song writer. He has a university degree as a composer.

 

His songs have a certain intensity and urgency to them. "These songs are not meant to be 'easy listening'. I combine rich textures with intricate intertwining melodies and motifs. For the serious listener there are many in-depth layers of orchestration to explore. Lyrically I write about deeper issues such as spirituality, sociopolitical issues, and yes the unavoidable sex and romance issues that are so much a part of us all."
